Who decides on the scholarship?
Following an initial screening, selected applicants will be invited to a digital interview. The interview is conducted in German.
The decision on the award of scholarships is made by the Board of Trustees of the Heinz Kühn Foundation, on the recommendation of the Board of Directors, at the subsequent meeting of the Board of Trustees.
This meeting usually takes place in March/April, so you can expect a final acceptance or rejection by the end of April. The scholarship programme generally takes place in autumn. The exact dates will be communicated by the foundation.
Upon completion of the scholarship, participants are required to submit an experience report in which they describe their experiences during the three-month stay.
